Christos was born in Athens on 18 September 1997, where he lives until today. He is a graduate at School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at NTUA and a qualified apnea trainer (A category) since 2024. Also in 2022 he completed both theoretical and practical training as an Apnea Academy and AIDA Assistant Instructor.  At the same time he is the owner of the company Sectus Spearfishing where he produces handmade wooden spearguns and spearfishing / freediving equipment.
 
He started swimming at the age of 4 and by the age of 20 he had already won many medals in national championships.
 
In 2018, at the age of 21, after he completed the second level of the Apnea Academy freediving course, he decided to become a competitive freediver. Ever since he has participated in many International and National competitions. 
 

Currently he is the deepest Greek male of all times with -117m in CWT and -105m in CWTB .  

Some of the most important achievements are listed below:
 
-Bronze medal at CMAS Depth World Championship in Kas – Turkey, 2021 (-112 m CWT)
 
-5th place at CMAS Depth World Championship in Kas – Turkey, 2021 (-102 m CWTB)   
 
-Gold medal at CMAS World Cup in Kalamata – Kalamata 2023 (-113 m CWT)
 
-Gold medal at CMAS World Cup in Kalamata – Kalamata 2023 (100 m CWTB)
 
-Gold medal at CMAS World Cup in Kalamata – Kalamata 2023 (-96m FIM)
 
-Over All Winner in Men’s Category at  CMAS World Cup in Kalamata – Kalamata 2023
 
-Over All Winner in Men’s Category worldwide – the “deepest man” for 2020 (-114 m CWT)
 
-Silver medal in European Cup, in Kalamata – Greece, 2020 (-107 m, CWT) 
 
-Silver medal in European Cup, in Kalamata – Greece, 2020 (-92 m, CWTB)
