Personal Coaching & Specialized Training
We design specialized training programs, addressed to a wide range of freedivers and underwater hunters, who:
– Notice that their performance has stalled and are struggling to progress,
– lack the knowledge necessary to build their own proper training routine, or
– are overwhelmed with information but simply don’t know whether it’s helpful or reliable.
Specialized training
Each of us is unique. All athletes do not share the same physical traits (strength, ability, stamina etc.), loading and recovery abilities, nor face the same challenges (i.e. dive performance limiting factors, technical shortcomings, mental barriers etc). Thus, replicated training plans, cutout in a “one size-fits-all” mindset, which require all freedivers, without exception to follow an identical routine, are very much doomed to fail.
The optimal training routine of the hobbyist spearfisher, who seeks to boost his performance while enjoying safe dives, varies radically from the one a relatively-experienced diver, who wishes to adopt a more serious approach to the sport needs, in order to optimize his (i.e. one with a built-in scientific approach). Likewise, a competitive athlete and/or Champion freediver (already an elite athlete) set on reaching improbable depths with laser-like precision, must follow yet another, more taxing routine.
Depending on what you require at the moment, we are here to help.
General information
From the outset, an interview with the athlete is conducted in order to record their medical and training history, available training means (e.g. swimming pool, resistance room, etc.), their routine, available time, eating habits, etc.
Expert guidance and feedback can be provided remotely by phone, email or fax, but also by online coaching. Training programs are sent by email.
Beyond the above-mentioned options one can pursue, there is also the possibility of physical attendance at the training site, upon prior arrangementS
